Why Frozen?

PeQu Iberian pigs are fed on acorns and grass of the meadow and are slaughtered during the months of January, February and March. This is the season of the acorn harvest, also called “montanera”. During those three months, PeQu Gourmet packs and deep freezes (-41 ° C) all the meat of the harvest so you can enjoy them all year round without any detriment of quality.
